The Brave Stone
A young boy with first-day jitters just wants to hide away — until his parents give him a stone small enough for his pocket, but big enough to hold all his bravery. A rhyming tale that helps little ones face their fears.
Nexcited
That funny feeling in your belly before the first day of school or the big game — a playful mix of “excited” and “nervous,” here to help kids stay calm, flexible, and brave while trying something new.
A little about me
I’m a published children’s author and special educator (M.Ed) with a background in Early Childhood Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. As a mom of two, I started telling stories on the fly to help my own kids through big milestones — and found that the right story brings children back to a place of calm and confidence.
That’s the heart of The Brave Stone and Nexcited. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me making memories with my family — and picking up a new skill or two (currently: beekeeping, baking, and raising chickens).
